Gardening @ GARDENS.ORG

What Is Gardens.org?

Our aim here at Gardens.org is to provide you with a single source for all the best that's available on the Internet for gardeners. We'll evaluate all the various garden sites, provide you with up-to-date links and reviews, point you to some of the best newsgroups and mailing lists, provide bulletin boards, forums, and chat rooms to discuss the infinite variety of the gardening experience, and -- real soon now -- give you an easy way to place your seed, equipment, book, video, and "other" orders.

Who runs Gardens.org?

James Monaco is a writer and publisher who does his gardening on 72/100ths of an acre (mostly wooded) in Sag Harbor NY, the old whaling town and traditional haven for writers on the South Fork of Long Island.

Robert Munro is an entrepreneur and executive with a swashbuckling business history who currently does his gardening on a large penthouse terrace thirteen stories above 48th Street in midtown Manhattan.

Why Gardens.org?

Both of us have been in the information business for more than thirty years. As gardeners, we hunger for good information just as much as you do. As the Internet continues to grow like Kudzu on a warm Georgia afternoon, we've been both impressed by the resources for gardeners available on the 'net and frustrated at how hard it is to find reliable sites. Hence: Gardens.org .We hope it'll prove to be the only garden site you need to bookmark. We'll do the spadework. You'll harvest the benefits. And we hope you'll help.
